Send Village Children to School

It great pleasure to share the story told by a girl student who is just 11 years old.

I am from the nearest village in my school and I attend the school every day with my younger sister which earlier not attending the school because I have to look after my sister because my parents  go everyday for work but after meeting with the teachers who visited our village I started to come school and I feel its really wonderful where I can learn alphabet with photos and I am able to read the book and I really reading book loudly in front of my classmate during dictation class which I like very much. Now I can read story which is available in my class book and feel proud and some time I told the story to my parents which I read and they also feel proud. So Thank you school.

Sony age is about 5 years old and she told with our teachers in school “ Mujhe yahan jab khana milta hai to padhne me bhi bahut acchha lagata hai aur daily school aane ka man karta hai” she just told because of wonderful food I love to school and coming everyday.

Sony is younger member in her family and she has three sisters and after covid when her father lost his job he returned to his village and working as a labour in his village and her mother also started to work in the field and than she every day went with her mother and no schooling was made but our teachers contacted with the family and told them during working hour you can leave your child in the school and when she came first time and received good food and school uniform than she is now continued in the school and attendance is almost regular and started to study and this year she promoted from class nursery to class one and now she looks healthy as well as study well and its all happened because of support we received through GlobalGiving.

PROVIDED CLOTHES TO THE CHILDREN

After covid pandemic when community started to loose their work and than it affects children and through generous support from GLOBAL GIVING We have also provided the clothes among children who was attending school from community here in the village and its helps children to start again to go to school for continue their study.

Children are pleased to received the new t-shirt through GlobalGiving support and they are enjoying in the school and continue their study after all covid panademic.

Dear Supporters, I am pleased to share the story of sony (Name changed) 10 years and attending in school in class 4 and she was earlier unable to join the school because of family circumstances because she was the carer of her younger brother in home because both of her parents went to work but our team regularly visited their home and motivate her parents to send the school and she was really very happy to receive the food and she started to come to school every day with her brother and now their parents can go for work easily and study is continued with her brother in Gyan Jyoty school. She dreams now to become a teacher in school after complete her study

Today I am going share a story for a girl who was in position to dropout from school because of covid pandemic.

One 12 years girl name sony (Name is changed) was student of class six when all the school was closed during covid pandemic in 2020 and her family lost their job and earlier they were working as a auto driver in tourist place Bodhgaya when every thing was closed they were struggling for survive and her daughter also left the school and their parents was started to work as a labour in construction house and some how they started to feed their family and they have 3 children elder is 12 year (sony) and two other 9 years and 5 years and when their parents went for work no one in her family to take care of young children and sony left the school and started to taking care of their brothers in the home but she wants to continue the school than it was noticed by our teachers and they visited their home and convinced their parents to send their children in the school and we are motivate them and provide the place for their others children in the school and than sony started to come in school with two younger brothers and at least she started to come to school and at last she continue to study.

This is not only one story we have many more but at last we succeed to reduce the dropout rate from the school in our areas and all its happen because of your wonderful support we received time to time through GlobalGiving. So thank you all.
