Send Village Children to School

Today I am going share a story for a girl who was in position to dropout from school because of covid pandemic.

One 12 years girl name sony (Name is changed) was student of class six when all the school was closed during covid pandemic in 2020 and her family lost their job and earlier they were working as a auto driver in tourist place Bodhgaya when every thing was closed they were struggling for survive and her daughter also left the school and their parents was started to work as a labour in construction house and some how they started to feed their family and they have 3 children elder is 12 year (sony) and two other 9 years and 5 years and when their parents went for work no one in her family to take care of young children and sony left the school and started to taking care of their brothers in the home but she wants to continue the school than it was noticed by our teachers and they visited their home and convinced their parents to send their children in the school and we are motivate them and provide the place for their others children in the school and than sony started to come in school with two younger brothers and at least she started to come to school and at last she continue to study.

This is not only one story we have many more but at last we succeed to reduce the dropout rate from the school in our areas and all its happen because of your wonderful support we received time to time through GlobalGiving. So thank you all.

Its pleasure to share the experience after covid when the school formally open and children started to attend the school and we have really a lot of story to share with you during the covid situation when children was stuck in their home and one of child share that her name is sony (Name is changed) age of 12 years and earlier she was attending in 6 class but after covid she stuck in her home with her family and she has 3 sisters and 1 brother and her father was rickshaw puller and her mother is house maid and during covid situation her mother was lost her job because where she works all family was in the house and they feel there is no need of work and her father also lost his job because there is no passenger on the road and no need for rickshaw than the only option they had for work as a labour with farmer and her mother is not in position to work as a labour and the family was struggling to survive than sony came forward to support her family and she approached her neighbor for home tuition of their 5 years of child and she provides tuition for children and of course earn some money and support her family too but now situation is over she started to come to school and even she did not complain but thanks to our teachers that because of their teaching she was able that time to provide tuition without any complain and now she comes school every day and attending more cautious and more careful for her study. This is just one story and a lot of thing bring positive by this school and this is really important for children to receive education as well as survive with their live. So thank you.
