SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

By Rose Bugusu | Director

This is our third semester and students have reported back to school.  We have had a wonderful time with the high school students during the August holiday.  The students had two weeks of activities including mentorship and career development program.

We had five motivational speakers, a doctor, a journalist, a counselor, a teacher and a lawyer.  Each speaker shared about his career and how he/she got there.  They also  had several activities inclding sports, soccer, basketball and they helped with chores like gardening and planting trees.

This confirms our efforts in making a difference in the lives of the needy children and not only provision of basic needs but equiping and empowering for self reliance in future. We are determined to  bring lasting positive change to the children, youth and the underprivileged members in society as our vision indicates.

YOU are making all these to happen, we congratulate for the good work you are doing in the lives of the needy in Rural Western Kenya. You enabled these children to spend their holidays in a special way, to learn more and get empowered.  We are certain that they will change even in their perfomance and we will be able to see great results. We thank you very much for your efforts, commitment and love towards the needy.

Kindly share with your friends and families the great work you are doing in Africa, share with them the difference you have made and how the lives of the children are changing. We are looking forward to reaching out to more and do our best for the students we already have. Respond to our reports and share.
