I was on my way walking to the school and I met a lady with two children, one on her back and the other one walking. She greeted and asked me where Tumaini office was and I asked her what she needed from the office. She told me she had a letter from the Catholic sisters that she wanted to deliver. I asked her to come with me and we went to the office. She was surprised and she asked me if I was working with Tumaini and I answered"yes" She gave the letter and the letter was requesting us to help her, at least admit the young girl in our children's home. I asked her why she wanted us to take in her child, she told me that her husband died and the brothers to the husband had taken everything from her and that she was asked to leave. The other child was sick and had a heart problem, he couldn't sit nor eat by himself. She was also sick from HIV/AIDS and so couldn't do much and she was always bed ridden. I didn't take this girl in as I didn't have enough bedding but I promised that I would contact the sisters if there will be any possibility of admitting her in the future. After a month I sent our social worker and manager to see the sisters and ask them for directions to visit the family. When they came back, they had no words to express the situation, and immediately I asked Vivian's mother to bring her and we admitted her in our home. Vivian was our top student in our school in the primary national exams. She joined high school this year and her first performance in high school is promising. She wants to be a doctor! Vivian can only achieve this if we all come together and support her. Donating towards our high school fees fund will enable us pay her school fees for next year. We have 16 other students who joined high school this year. Share our report with friends and lets expand our family to make a difference! Thank you for enabling us admit them in high school this year! Your support is very much appreciated and will never be forgotten, has created a mark in lives that will be shared forever!
