First of all: thanks a lot for your donation to our project to send 50 kids to school in Guatemala. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the goal. But we are still helping as many kids as we can with the received donations.
We are currently organizing afternoon activities for the primary school kids, from 6 till 14 years old. During these activities there are two psycology students who help the kids individually with their homework. One of our goals is to give the kids time to be kids and play in the afternoons (after school time), but we also want to stimulate them to do their homework. This is the ideal way to do so.
Besides these activities the donations made it possible to help out about 20 kids with their daily costs for school, such as school supplies and their montly costs. These costs are a great barrier for many parents, so the donations helped these kids to stay in school.
