The current challenging has afforded our organisation to pivot our program to Home Literacy due to the closure of schools to ensure continue learning of our girls. We cannot afford to loss the success we have chocked so far as a result of this worldwide pandemic.
Though life is so hectic these days for many organisation, we are able to come out with a program to litigate the effect of COVID-19 on our girls education by introducing COVID-19 Home Literacy Program. This program allows our team members to continue teaching and giving educational materials to deprived girls and children in our area of work. Currently since Ghana experienced its first case in COVID-19 on the 12th March, 2020 and the subsequent closure of schools and social gatherings to help halt the spread of the virus, Achievers Ghana launched the Home Literacy program on the 4th April, 2020.
We will appreciate it if the support continue to flow as we are currently dealing with 1500 children in the slum communities of Greater Accra region of Ghana.
We trully appreciate your kind support and we hope to continue to gie hope to our deprived girls to become leaders and become front liners when an emmergency arrives. Girls can do it and let put our resources together to make it happen.
We hope to hear from your soon with lots of support in this challeneging times.
