The new generation of Seed Women is coming!

By Fernanda de la Cerda | Executive Director

We are pleased to share that the new generation of Mujeres Semilla is officially underway.

Following the change in local government administration this past January, we have successfully aligned new strategic partnerships with the incoming authorities to ensure the continuity and strengthening of the program. This coordination allows us to expand our reach while maintaining the quality and integrity of our model.

This new cohort will begin with a group of 25 women, who will participate in a comprehensive training program focused on:

  • Computer skills for employment

  • Emotional management and personal empowerment

  • Financial education

As in the previous generation, the program is designed to provide participants with practical and personal development tools that enable them to either secure employment or launch their own income-generating initiatives using their newly acquired skills.

We are also proud to share that the donation of 25 computers will be granted by the Rotary Club Puebla, which is already coordinating the delivery of the promised equipment. This contribution is fundamental to ensuring high-quality technical training and hands-on learning for each participant.

Additionally, we have defined the new program location: this cohort will take place in Tlanecpaquila, within the municipality of Zongolica. By expanding into this community, we aim to broaden our impact and bring transformative educational opportunities to more women in the region.

We are excited about the potential of this new generation of Mujeres Semilla and deeply grateful for your continued support in making these opportunities possible.

Together, we continue planting seeds of empowerment and economic independence in indigenous women.
