We are writing to update you that GlobalGiving through whom you have contributed to our work was placed on the ‘Prior Reference Category’ (PRC) list of donors by the Ministry of Home Affairs, India in 2019. Since then, GlobalGiving has been unable to make disbursements to Indian-banked nonprofit partners, including us.
Despite their efforts over two years, the GlobalGiving team has been unable to get off the PRC list or identify an alternative disbursement solution. We can assure you that this is not a reflection on us as an organization. GlobalGiving has contacted you separately to discuss the GlobalGiving Guarantee and your options for undisbursed donations.
Your donation came at a very critical time, but unfortunately got stuck in the regulatory hurdles. We cannot thank you enough for supporting our cause. We are very grateful to have supporters like you.
