Train and start job for school leavers to be self employed through acquisition of vocational skills, identification of rural sources of raw material and market. They will be linked up to national credit sources.
Ther level of unemployment among school leavers in Eastern Nigeria is very high. There are more than 600,000 unemployed school Leavers who also do not have means of obtaining University education. This high level of unemployment has worsened the rate of child /human trafficking, insecurity such as kidnapping and militancy, high rate of armed roberry, prostiution and school drop outs. As school leavers take to these ilicit acts, it provides ready reasons for poor parents to withdraw thier ward
The project will impact on 200 school leavers and 100 school pupil. Self employment will be reduction of unemployment rate, insecurity, prostitution, drug and human trafficking and household poverty. It will also influence the comunity’s economy
Acquisition of practical life skills will leap the beneficiaries and thier families away from poverty. It will constantly increase thier income, improved standard of living and generate income to pursue higher education and other skills
