Tanzania Development Trust has been working with Tumaini Open School in Tabora to ensure that girls excluded from education by pregnancy get a second chance at an education. Through better connectivity and refurbished laptops they can now access online materials and attend webinars such as Inspiring Girls to widen their horizons and widen their curriculum.
To take this one step further, we have now started working with Code2Connect to teach Digital Literacy and Coding via Zoom.
The girls and young women, who in previous schools had no chance to use a computer or get online are very excited about this opportunity, and keen to supplement their skills.
Grace says "I come from a small village, and my previous school had no computers, so it is amazing to me to be able to see and communicate with people from all over the world via a laptop, I thank God for this opportunity".
So thank you again for enabling such opportunities by your generosity.
