The project is well on track so far. We have collected the requirements of these school kits through our volunteers and partner NGO's who are working on the ground level with the underprivileged children and Government schools.
The materials required for the distribution is also getting ready. We have recieved some part of the requirement- The rest of the order can be placed based on the availbilty of the funds. Pictures of the school bag, notebooks and few staionery has been attached with this report.
As we have recieved an overwhelming response from donors through Global giving, we have now increased the reach of the project. The target number of children to be supported (through global giving funds) has been increased from 2000 to 3000. We are hopefull of reaching this target.
We are currently in the process of finalising the distribution schedule to the variuos rural parts. The work of distributing these school supplies to the children in rural parts will be done completely through Volunteers. Many of the donors of the school kits also choose to volunteer for the distribution.
The complete report with the list of schools and children reached through this project will posted at the completion of the project which is expected to be around last week of July.
