During the past year, The Taylor Anderson Memorial Fund has continued to support Taylor Scholarship students at the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School helping these students learn English and prepare for their hospitality careers in restaurants and hotels.
On November 29, from from 00:00:00 EST to 23:59:59 EST, GlobalGiving will giveaway $1.2 million to nonprofits around the world as part of their #MoveAMillion campaign for GivingTuesday. Your donation will help us unlock a greater share of those bonus funds!
Together, we can continue to help support these students and families! Many of the students need scholarships to attend the Sendai YMCA International Hotel and Pastry School because of economic hardships, some caused by the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, and lately because of the pandemic they lost the chance to work after school. The Sendai YMCA and TAMF provide these scholarships jointly. Mark your calendars today!
