REPORT OF THE PROJECT SCHOLARSHIP FOR POOR GIRLS TO STUDY NURSING
Reporting period of the project :
Upto 30.12.2021.
ST. MARY’S SCHOOL OF NURSING - STUDENTS.
Project objective:
This project is to provide scholarships to 60 girls to study the nursing course in St. Mary's School of Nursing organized by Women for Women (WFW).
The Funds to be used for Poor students, studied in Diploma in Nursing course:
o Payment of examination fees
o Purchase and distribution of training materials
o Regarding one more essential need – hostel expenses – WFW has been
up to this date managing to meet this need. But, it is very important that funds are raised as early as possible to meet this partially fulfilled need.
Women for Women & GlobalGiving
the 60 beneficiary girls have been able to join and study a professional Diploma Course in Nursing in St. Mary's School of Nursing organized by WFW that has been initiated for the specific purpose of helping educated young girls from poor families to study a professional course and thereby earn a sustainable livelihood.
With the help of we distributed free books, uniforms. And food also provided by this program for students. Individual donors through the relationship that Women for Women has established with GlobalGiving, it has become possible to make changes in the lives of 60 young girls enrolled to study the nursing course.
