I want to thank all whom have donated!
We have been very busy building a kitchen for disabled Korean Army Veteran named Charlie. His wife passed away 10 years ago. His son lives 300 miles away and is also disabled making it impossible for him to help his father.
Charlie is all alone. He lives in a small cabin that had no kitchen. So he had to drive 8 miles to go to McDonald's for his meals. This is where we met Charlie, McDonald's. When we found out about Charlie's living situation we decided that he really needed a kitchen to cook his meals in.
We built a kitchen with cabinets that had plenty of draws and shelves above the cabinets. Then we built a pantry that hides behind the front door. We built a spice rack with a folding butcher block countertop. Then we built a butcher block countertop for his microwave and coffee maker with storage shelves above and below the countertop. We added a Whirlpool refrigerator and small appliances. The final touch was filling the kitchen and fridge with food.
Please see all the pictures of this beautiful kitchen.
Charlie cried when he saw the finished kitchen fully equipped and ready for him to use.
Charlie sends this message to all whom have helped him "Thank you for answering my prayers!!! God Bless You!!!"
