New statistics show that there are still 39,471 homeless Veterans in the United States according to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as of Dec. 2017. Statistics also show that 30% of all homeless people die every year from harsh weather conditions. That means 32 Veterans will die every day throughout the year for a total of 11,841.
We distributed 28 Survival Packs to homeless Veterans in Dallas, TX and San Fransisco, CA.
Harry is a homeless Veteran in San Fransisco where there are over 10,000 homeless Veterans that need help.
John is so embarrassed and doesn’t want his mom to see him in this position but he needs help getting a job and place to live, just like the other 27 Veterans. They appreciate the Survival Pack and Walmart Gift card. Some even say they can stretch the $65 on the gift card out so that they can eat for 6 weeks and Thank You for your help.
It’s your donations that make this possible, we can’t do it without you! Please give to save a Vets life.
