I must say that I barely had enough from the last 6 months of donations to help Zach...I completely understand that life has it's up's and down's, and only ask that if you can't help...please share!
Here's what Zach had to say about the American Homeless Families Foundation...
The American Homeless families foundation.. what can I say about them right now..? That they came through and helped a veteran in dire needs. I’ve been in and out of the hospital since August 19th, I work for myself and due to these injuries and surgeries I’ve had I’ve almost lost everything I own.
They showed me there’s actually help out there for vets and asking for help as hard as it is, is something worth doing. They were able to send me $200 and that $200 not might seem like much money, but when you have zero money, zero food, looking at being homeless over an injury, and possibly facing homelessness as soon as I was released from the hospital, that $200 does a lot.
There is help. I am so thankful to this foundation for that $200 and all they’re trying to do for us vets.
As soon as I can I’m donating not only the $200 back into the foundation, I’m going to be making donations as often as possible. These are people who help and help fast. The more funding they have the more they can help others like myself.
I’m not sure the best way to donate, so write the foundation and ask what’s the best way to donate, but if you can donate the smallest amounts they go along way.

In September we only recieved $10 in donations all month.
In October we only recieved $20.79 in donations all month.
These kind of donations are small and we really can't do much. Although we do appreciate the donation...it just doesn't go very far.
I have never taken a salary, all my time and gas is my donation to our Veteran's. And I have paid for all administrative costs myself, such as Website...I'm the Webmaster too! Everything needed has been initiated, duties performed by me. All Proceeds Go Directly To Veterans In Need!!! But I can no longer do this without your help, please show me you want me to continue helping Veterans! I am not a rich person, I do this because I love and respect all Veterans that put their lives on the line for everyone else in the US to keep us safe and besides, someone needs to, right!?
With your help we can help more Veterans like Zach, a young Afghanistan war veteran.
I have over 21 Veterans that need help right now but I cannot help them without you!
