Dear Friend
Greetings!
We would like to thank our donors for the generous support for the Project of Saving Mothers and Babies with Innovative Tools. Under this we are providing quality simulation-based healthcare training to service providers. The simulation based training of innovative tools is essential, effective and required for saving lives at birth. High quality simulation can substitute upto 50 % of clinical hours in pre-service nursing education.
Tools like Mamanatalie are used for practicing realistic and interactive scenario for normal and complicated births. There are some simulators for eg. Neonatalie which is required for demonstrating and teaching resuscitation techniques for newborns. These tools are also intended to care newborns such as Penguin Newborn Suction is made for removal of fluids from newborn’s nasal and oral cavities, Upright provide effective ventilation, Moyo detects Fetal Heart Rate etc.
Simulation based training also supports motherhood as tools like MamaBreast can be used which allows highly realistic simulation of breastfeeding. CarePlus help mothers in providing quality KMC to newborns. Nifty feeding cup can be used for feeding breast milk to newborn with breastfeeding difficulties
These Innovative tools not only provide support to service provider for delivery and baby care but also helps in training of family planning method for eg. Mama U supports training for postpartum IUD insertion training
Lifesaving tools would be able to delivery improved care and would lead to better health outcomes. Your contribution to the project would help us in increasing quality of care in health facilities and saving lives. Healthcare providers as well as facilities will be better trained and equipped to deliver quality care resulting in better survival outcomes for both mothers and newborns.
We seek your support for ensuring last mile acess to these lifesaving tools.
