We are currently facing an emergency. Ruboni Arts Village is being displaced by Town council authorities during the road construction, threatening to leave 100+ children and youth without their only safe sanctuary. Beyond this immediate crisis, our youth face staggering unemployment and a lack of technical skills. Without a permanent hub, we cannot provide the stable environment needed to teach digital literacy or manage the plastic waste currently choking our fragile mountain ecosystem.
We will turn this crisis into a new beginning by securing our own land and building a permanent Youth Training Hub. This sanctuary will house a "Waste-to-Wealth" workshop where children transform mountain plastic into art, and a digital suite for training 100+ youth in tech-driven eco-tourism. By moving from "renters" to "owners," we ensure that our skilling programs, mentorship, and cultural education never face the threat of eviction again.
This project creates a permanent engine for change in the Ruboni village By skilling 100+ youth, we are launching a new generation of eco-entrepreneurs who can earn a dignified living while protecting their environment. In the long term, this hub will preserve the Bakonzo heritage and serve as a global model for how grassroots communities can use technology and art to solve poverty and pollution forever.
