Malnutrition is still a nutritional problem in Indonesia. This is reflected in the prevalence of stunting under five, which is still at 24.4%. In order to improve the quality of superior and qualified human resources, we are targeting under-5 stunting to be 14% by the end of 2024. The results of the Indonesian Ministry of Health's Study on Nutritional Status (SSGI) show that 24.5% of infants under 5 years of age (toddlers) in West Java will experience stunting in 2022
Indonesia is one of the areas with a very high level of poverty and unemployment. It is also a disaster-prone area with many remote areas that are far from access to economic and educational progress, which has an impact on the low standard of living in the community, especially on the nutrition of children, which makes it one of the areas with a high rates of stunting.
The first stage (Emergency) is to provide food and nutrition availability for children who have been affected by malnutrition. The next stage is medical assistance for the children and nutritional education for parents, and skills mentoring to improve the standard of living of their family, as well as prevention of malnutrition recurrence in children.
With this project being carried out for 1 year, it will children healthy and grow up optimally. In particular, a bigger impact will make the people there have a better standard of living, such as getting proper health and economic education so that they become a prosperous society.
