Thank you for your generous donations! These vital funds help to sustain our operations and enable us to continue rescuing and rehoming as many cats and dogs as possible.
We continue to struggle with capacity at the shelter - we are full to the rafters and desperately need foster carers to help alleviate the pressure on our staff and resoruces. In good news, we have celebrated some adoptions recently, including the lovely Kite who was our second longest shelter resident and was adopted after almost 4 years in the shelter! It's a great reminder of why we do what we do and why we never give up on any animal!
Our volunteer fundraising team have been busy organising events and activities to help cover our operating costs. We have the annual Furball Gala coming up in October and have continued to host our monthly quiz, various Puppy Rodeos, family days and corporate events - these are vital to increasing community awareness of our work and help to encourage new volunteers and donations.
Thank you again for your vital support. Our ever-increasing operating costs and the sheer numbers of animals in our care mean that we desperately need to raise more money in order to keep going. We want to help as many animals as possible, but we have to ensure that we have adequate resources to provide them with the shelter, food, veterinary treatment and rehoming efforts that they deserve. Every donation makes a real difference to the lives of the dogs and cats in our shelter - thank you!
