Report for Project - 70527

I am excited to share with you that we secured a bargain for two Kenyan Top Bar Beehives and training resources through one of our partnerships to further the ends of our project.
As such, in a week or two, we will be conducting a small focus group discussion on Beekeeping and Human - Elephant conflict related education with partners and a few members of affected communities and completing the multilingual manuals related to that.
Also, I would like to reiterate that this is our last activity related to the project and we would like to discontinue fundraising for this project for two specific reasons:
i) The projected culling of elephants by our government has not been carried out to date, and
ii) We have limited capacity at present to continue the large-scale components of the project.

Dear GlobalGiving team,
Following the recent generous disbursement our project 70527 received, we were able to design infographics on Human - Elephant conflict mitigation and nature-based solutions which we will be soon posting on LinkedIn and X handles.
We also were able to use some of the funds to initiate a tax clearance certification with our local tax authority.
I managed to converse with my team around the relevance of the project given how the conversation around culling (elephants) has been somewhat muted by government and the responsible authority and we seem to agree that the project might be somewhat irrelevant and less urgent as when it was posted earlier on the platform.
As such, we do not intend to raise false alarm and will be moving forward to deactivate the project from our end.
We remain grateful and excited with the partnership and how it has continued our learning experience regarding finding support for our initiatives and look forward to continuing this journey with you.

Report for Project - 70527

As our first project fundraiser, Project - 70527 has been a learning curve and really helpful in terms of reimagining fundraisng, connecting to new partners, donors and reorganizing our organization. We have benefitted from the fundraiser in more ways than achieving enough resources for it's execution - either partially or fully.
We’re still on our journey to make this project a reality, and our fundraising efforts are ongoing. So far, we’ve made encouraging progress, but we have not yet reached the level of funding needed to begin implementing activities on the ground.
With the continued support and blessing of our donors and this platform, we plan to keep the fundraising campaign active until we can confidently take action — whether partially or in full. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to that goal and helps lay the foundation for real impact.
We’re deeply grateful to all who have already contributed and shared our campaign. Your generosity and belief in our vision continue to inspire us. As we move forward, we’re reaching out to new supporters, partners, and communities to grow our base and bring this project to life. Together, we can make lasting change possible.
