Dear Global Giving Team,
Please find the report of "Support 105 paralegal girls' earthquake recovery (20466)
Title: Recovery to Awareness and School Building
Samrakshak Samuha Nepal (SASANE) has already completed the earthquake recovery program. As some villages of Ghynagphedi where SASANE has been organizing the Mountain Village Education Program since 2011, there were no schools , some villages which had schools the 2015 earthquake completely got destroyed. SASANE this year constructed temporary schools for the children to study.
Moreover, SASANE also helped in road construction which would make the villagers comfortable to walk long distance.
Now the SASANE girls provide awareness class to the villagers about the safety measures to be adopted during earthquake and also share the situation of human trafficking which has increased tremendously after the earthquake.
We hope to receive the help and support from you so that our organization can move forward on its mission.
Thank you!

Next Step in Earthquake Recovery
SASANE has already completed the earthquake recovery program and have also already distributed both the installments. Now SASANE is in the second phase of the Earthquake Recovery Program.
SASANE has been helping the paralegal girls who have been deeply affected by the earthquake claim the financial help to be provided by the Government of Nepal. As the girls are not much aware about the evidence that is needed to receive the financial help, SASANE has been helping them in collecting, filing and presenting the evidence to receive the financial help.
Secondly, now SASANE has also started to provide skill development training to the girls and adult women of Ghyangphedi. We have been training them bracelet making using beads. The girls and women are very much interested to be a part of the program and have produced 1400 bracelets this month.
This training will help trace income generating options to the girls and women of the rural mountain village Ghynagphedi and can also help in reduction of girls trafficking which has been taken as a culture there.
We hope to receive same support and help from you always.
Thank you!

Report.
Construction of Toilets in eight villages of Nuwakot
After the successful completion of the Earthquake Rehabilitation Program by SASANE. We started the construction of toiltes in eight rural mountain villages of Nuwakot. Nuwakot is considered to be one of the rural village of Nepal where people do not have toilets. To raise awareness among the villagers about the importance of sanitation/cleanliness, SASANE with the help of the international donors and the Government of Nepal recently completed construction of eight toilets in eight villages of Nuwakot respectively.
After the construction of toilets, the villagers are seen more conscious about cleanliness issues and are found to be more aware about using toilets. The SASANE sisters who have been placed in these eight villages regularly monitor and make sure that the toilets have been used by the villagers and are also responsible to teach about hand wash and the importance of sanitation and cleanliness in their village.
Thank you.
