Hello Friends
Hope you are doing well and preparing for upcoming Memorial Day weekend. It is reporting time for the building construction project.
This building is proudly serving as a center for SANTI’s activities. We are progressing on sewing and alteration training to local girls and many of them started earning money from their work. In parallel, we have successfully completed to educate about 600 women from Mahila Arogya Samiti (MAS) group dedicated to women health and hygiene. We also trained key group leaders on accounting and expense reporting while managing their group.
Due to our strong credentials and performance of SANTI National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) selected SANTI to expand our help to MAS based in nearby cities such as Sundargarh and Rourkela.
In addition to this, Rourkela City Program Management Unit (CPMU) has selected SANTI to educate local citizens through folk programs and media show.
So far we have completed numerous health awareness programs that educated more than 10,000 people. The main theme of these programs are immunization awareness, birth control, child health program, use of safe drinking water, awareness for Dengue, Malaria, Diabetes, Cancer and hypertension etc.
Hence, you can feel the urgent need to finish this building construction. We need your support for completion of this building so that we continue to do great work in future.
