I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share an update on our Empowerment Center in Rajgangpur, Odisha. Your support and encouragement mean the world to us, and I want to keep you informed about our progress and ongoing activities.
Building Progress: Unfortunately, due to a shortage of funds, we have not been able to make any further progress on the construction of our Empowerment Center. While this is a setback, it has not stopped us from utilizing the existing space for meaningful activities.
Ongoing Tailoring Training: Our 3rd batch of tailoring training, which started in April 2024, is being held in this building. We have 24 dedicated young women participating in the program, gaining valuable skills that will help them secure employment and build better futures for themselves. This training is made possible with the support of Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd., and we are grateful for their contribution.
Holi Celebrations: Despite the challenges, we managed to bring joy to our community by celebrating the Holi festival at the Empowerment Center. The children participated in a dance program, filling the day with laughter, colors, and happiness. It was a heartwarming event that reminded us of the strength and spirit of our community.
