And Still We Persist
By Dr. Carol Mills Kamara | Project Leader
Greetings Supporters and Well-wishers,
We are still holding on to the vision to bring Sanitary Care - toilet, well and water tower to the Teahplay School. We are still seeking donors to accomplish this project.
Next month, April, R.O.C.K.'s vice president and I will be visiting Liberia. While there, we will visit the Teahplay school and consult with a reputable construction company to get updated estimates and other details regarding this proposed project.
Upon our return we will share pictures and give further details.
Thank you for your continued interest and support in this project and in the well being of the students at the Teahplay School.
Sincerely,
Dr. Carol

Delayed But Not Denied
By Dr. Carol Mills Kamara | Project Leader
Greetings Friend,
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work to provide toilets, a well, and a water tower for Teahplay Public School in Nimba County, Liberia.
Unfortunately, we have not met our funding goals for this project. Our initial plan was to start in July 2025, ahead of the 2025-2026 academic year. Because of funding shortfalls, this timeline is delayed. We remain committed and will continue soliciting donations until the project is complete.
Please continue to help when you can and share our vision with others who may be inspired to join us. Together, we can make a lasting difference at Teahplay School through R.O.C.K.'s mission.
Sincerely,
Dr. Carol Mills Kamara. LCSW

School building with rest room
Dear Friends and Well Wishers,
Thanks for reviewing our project. We appreciate your interest and financial support.
The big and distressing problem of no sanitation at the Teahplay School remains. There is still no water on the school grounds and the students and staff continue to use pit toilets (hole in the ground) or the bush to relieve themselves and have no water to wash their hands and drink. Land was identified for the placement of decent toilets, a septic tank, well and a water tower at the school. A hallway would be built to connect the toilets to the school so that the students and staff do not have to walk in the rain to use the bathrooms. As reported previously, we also have the building drawings and we have identified a reputable builder.
We have not been able to raise enough funds to start the project but we will not stop trying to do so. We are seeking more donors, an individual, a church, or organization to help us. We believe that there is too much money in this world for children and teachers to continue to suffer preventable illness, and children to be in danger of falling into pit toliets due to lack of sanitary conditions.
Our strong belief is this project is delayed but not denied. Please continue to support us and tell others about this worthy project.
Thank you.
Dr. Carol Mills Kamara
