We want to guarantee access to healthcare, offering comprehensive medical care to orphaned, abandoned, or impoverished children who live on the streets without access to public health under unhygienic and malnourished conditions. We want to provide these vulnerable children with their universal right to have access to quality and comprehensive medical care.
For many years, Venezuela has had a severe crisis in its health system, depriving children, and especially those at-risk of their right to healthcare. Many children do not even have primary care services, causing deterioration and critical consequences for their healthy development.
The main objective of this project is to guarantee the right to healthcare for at-risk children by carrying out complete evaluations to meet their needs: comply with the immunization and specialized diagnosis schemes, carry out the necessary surgeries and treatments and provide the prescribed medications.
The long-term impact will be reflected in the evolution and fundamental improvement of the health of the children receiving medical care. They will benefit from appropriate medical care and access to medications according to their requirements. By providing these at-risk children with healthcare, not only will they in good health throughout their childhood and adolescence but as adults, they will have the opportunity to thrive in their communities: by becoming healthy adults.
