SAFE GIRL MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT

Safe Girl is an initiative project,that envisions a world where menstrual products are affordable and accesible to all women and girls in East Afria.

We do this through manufacturing reusable menstrual kits that safe,affordable and accesible to all the women and girls,Additionally,we conduct menstrual awareness campaigns in both schools and communities providung accurate information about menstruation and menstrual hygiene,reproductive health,sanitation and all at large,so that no woman or girl should ever feel ashamed,oppressed, isolated or miss school because they lack what to use during menstruation,or because they lack information to deal with it appropriately.

MISSION:

We aim to lower the cost of menstruation through manufacturing and distribution of reusable menstrual products to adolesent girls and women to proper manage their menstruation.

VISION:

We envision a world where  menstrual products are affordable and acessible to all women and girls.

We are delightly to report that the past three months have been a successful for the safegirl initiative, thanks to your donations, love  and support.

ACTIVITY

 Prouduction of the safegirl reusable sanitary pads and conducting sessions on menstration and menstrual hygiene.

Objective of the activity

Distribution of the safegirl reusable pads and equping  women,girls and boys in different communities with the knowledge and skills on how to manage and handle menstruation.

 PAD PRODUCTION

During our production,we were able to produce 5000 reusable mentrual pads,which we distributed to different communities,schools and organisations all around mpigi,mattuga and kampala.  

AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS

LUKALU SECONDARY SCHOOL

We managed to reachout to 10000 Girls,boys,women and men and sensitized them about menstruation,menstrual hygiene,reproductive health  and sanitation at large. 

In conclusion,Safegirl reached out to 10,000 women,girls and boys through conducting awareness campaigns and distributed 2500 packs of safegirl reusable pads in 2 schools and 2 communities .We will be delightful to share with you our End of year report ,since 2023 is coming to an end. Stay tuned.
