WOW Tanzania – WASH Project Report
We are happy to share an update on our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives. Recently, we successfully completed our school water program, where we installed rainwater harvesting systems, wells, and water taps at four local schools. These installations now provide hundreds of children with safe, clean water every day—improving health, attendance, and overall learning conditions.
Following this success, we have now turned our attention to a new, urgent need—two young girls living in extreme poverty. Their home has no access to clean water or electricity. They live in a simple, fragile structure without access to proper sanitation, which puts them at daily risk of illness.
We have begun building a toilet for them to restore dignity and protect their health. The septic tank is already complete, and the next step will be installing the toilet itself. Our long-term plan includes adding a rainwater harvesting unit so the girls and their family will have reliable access to clean water.
We are deeply grateful to all who have supported our WASH work so far. Your generosity has already transformed many lives—and with your continued help, we can bring lasting change to these girls and others like them.
Thank you for being part of this mission to restore health, dignity, and hope.
