Update on WOW's WASH Program

By Mrs. Paula Chomba | Co-Founder and Project Leader

Subject: Exciting Progress Update on Our WASH Project

Dear Donors and Supporters,

I’m thrilled to share an update on our WASH project, which is dedicated to improving access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene in the most underserved communities.

We’re excited to welcome two new volunteers to our team who are bringing fresh energy and expertise to help us achieve our goals. With government approval secured, we are now moving forward with organizing our first community meeting. This meeting will bring together representatives from four schools and the wider community to collaboratively plan the construction of four wells and rainwater harvesting units.  Simultaneously, we are applying for grants to expand the scope of this project. These funds will enable us to move toward the next critical phase: building toilets for the most vulnerable members of our community, including impoverished schools and families.

This project’s impact is far-reaching, addressing critical needs for clean water, reducing waterborne diseases, and creating healthier learning environments for children. Your support has been instrumental in making this progress possible, and we’re deeply grateful for your continued partnership.

We’ll keep you updated as we reach these exciting milestones. Thank you for standing with us as we work to create a healthier, more dignified future for those who need it most.

Warm regards,
