Whilst still actively campaigning for donations to provide water filters for previously installed water systems in villages in the Philippines. AIDFI has been implementing through funding from prize money from the Global Development Network, a water system in the community of Lemlong in the village of Klubi, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.
The community which is home to 67 households belonging to the T'Boli tribe are now enjoying easy access to more than 8,000 liters per day pumped up by our ram pump model without the use of any external energy (electricity or fuel) on a 24/7 basis.
The system which was implemented through AIDFI's holistic program involves a rigid social preparation process and engages the community in all aspects of implementation of the project. This was the 2nd project funded through the prize. Each household received a tabletop water filter as part of the project.
As we come to the end of 2025, we look forward to more exciting activities to come for 2026 which will surely be welcomed by our beneficiaries.
Wishing you all happy holidays and a prosperous 2026!
