Safe home for the victim's domestic violence in BH

Up to the moment of reporting, in relation to the previous report, our organization has carried out the following activities in connection with the construction of a safe house in Trebinje:

1. The documentation for obtaining a building permit for the construction of a safe house was put into the procedure.

2. The Agreement on the construction of a safe house between the City of Trebinje and our Foundation is being prepared.

This contract will define the relationship between the City and our Foundation because the City also provided part of the funds for its construction. Thanks to those funds, as well as the funds that we collect, we plan to call for a tender for the execution of the first phase of rough construction works.

During the reporting period, the City of Trebinje passed a Decision on giving consent to the Mayor to support the project of building a safe house in Trebinje. The city provides land, infrastructure, the costs of various permits for connections and construction, as well as financial support.In addition to this support, the City will participate in a campaign to raise additional funds that are needed to complete the construction of the safe house. Finally, after 18 years of continuous struggle of our organization, we are in front of its realization. We expect to finally finish its construction in 2023.

With the funds collected so far and approved by the City, we are planning the final campaign for its construction in the first quarter of 2023.
