Our Dearest Fiends,
This report covers the period from June 01, 2022 to September 24, 2022, and is our thirteenth report on the project of Safeguarding Frogs and Birds in Masuria, Poland.
Finally we can give you the most amazing news!
On the 9th of September 2022 our project oficially started. If you think it was easy to begin our journey, you are totally wrong!
We were forced to apply for a building permit and due to this we had to hire an architect, construction project manager, and construction inspector. These salaries were not a part of our budget, but it seems beurocrats don't care. Additionally this process took us the whole summer, so we have not much time left this year. The winter is almost here!
The growing popularity of the Masuria region puts nature under a lot of pressure, which can result in the destruction of the environment. To avoid this, sustainable development must be a priority.
We are in a process of digging a ground to create a foundation for tourist paths. Huskatlen Co. was awarded a contract, and already started its work. Two surveyor technicians were working in our park for two days to mark out the paths. This tourist path work should be completed by the end of this year.
Also we are planning a planting work for this year, and this should begin after the 15th of October, 2022.
We will send all the pictures with the next report. It might be right before Christmas, so we hope we can get you some snowy images to make your Christmas white.
All the best, and keep your fingers crossed!
