Dear Friends,
It is about the time to write another report, and this one is a really special one.
It covers the period from February 3,2022 to May 31,,2022, and is our twelfth report on the project of Safeguarding Frogs and Birds in Masuria, Poland.
In the last report we have informed you about receiving a letter from the Marshal's Office stating that they might have additional funds for the grants. We have filled out all the documents requested by the office, and guess what ....... we got it! We really, really got it!
On the 25th of February, 2022 we have signed an agreement, and right now are waiting for a building permit, because the previous one was no longer valid. If everything goes well we should start a contruction of the paths in August 2022.
This good news does not mean we don't need donations anymore!
We do need them because we have not included the excavation of the pond in the overall project since there was no problem with the water there.
The last season was extremely dry, and for the first time we are facing a water issue in the whole area there. Our fire-bellied toads had no place to return for mating this spring, therefore this excavation is our major concern now.
We really appreciate your wonderful support, but please keep it in mind we still need your help!
