Summary

Millions of Ukrainians struggle daily without access to clean water due to war-damaged infrastructure. ADRA builds wells, installs water purification systems and rehabilitates essential water infrastructure in schools, hospitals and community centers in Dnipropetrovsk area. Your support brings safe drinking water to the most vulnerable - children, seniors, displaced families and patients from hospitals.

Challenge

Years of conflict have devastated Ukraine's water systems, leaving thousands without reliable access to safe drinking water. Families, schools and clinics often rely on contaminated sources, risking illness and worsening humanitarian conditions. Children cannot attend school without basic hygiene, hospitals struggle to care for patients, and displaced people face a daily survival challenge.

Solution

ADRA responds by repairing and building water infrastructure in war-affected regions. We dig and equip new wells, replace aging water towers and install water purification systems for schools, health facilities and community centers. This ensures a sustainable supply of clean water, protects public health, and restores dignity and stability to vulnerable communities.

Long-Term Impact

Access to safe water transforms lives beyond immediate relief. Clean water reduces disease, enables schooling. By investing in durable water systems and local capacity, this project fosters resilience and long-term recovery in communities struggling with the aftermath of conflict. Sustainable infrastructure helps communities thrive today and rebuild for tomorrow.
