Since our start in 2021, the Sexual Violence Prevention Association (SVPA) has been dedicated to preventing sexual violence systemically. Our advocacy, resources, and institutional actions have had broad impact across the country.  We are proud to publish our Impact Report.

The Impact Report details our successes preventing sexual violence. With your help, we can do even more next year.  Please consider donating to our holiday campaign.

Impact Highlights

  • 500,000+ people educated on sexual violence prevention
  • 96% of administrators improved their campus/workplace policies
  • 110,224 students served by our high schools/college programs
  • 38 legislative and 6 judicial advocacy actions
  • 7 research initiatives and 9 active coalitions/groups

DEFIANCE Act
We wrote and advocated for the DEFIANCE Act, a federal bill to address and prevent deepfake pornography.  It passed the Senate unanimously and is pending in the House of Representatives.

Policy Map & SVPA Score
We published our policy map and SVPA Score analyzing the quantity and quality of prevention legislation in each state, as well as assessments of K-12 schools, colleges, and companies.

Congress Roundtable
Our Founder and CEO spoke at Congress alongside Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and actress/activist Sophia Bush.  They advocated for the prevention of digital sexual violence.

SORVO Report
We published SORVO, a framework and report detailing how oppressive groups weaponize sexual violence, and accusations thereof, to commit systemic oppression.

Dept. of Education Letter
We wrote a letter urging the Department of Education to issue new guidance for Title IX in K-12 schools and colleges to prevent digital sexual harassment. 37 organizations signed on.

Supreme Court Amicus Brief
Our advocacy played a role in the Supreme Court's Rahimi decision which will prevent sexual violence by upholding firearm restrictions for perpetrators of interpersonal violence.

5 R's of Digital Bystander Intervention
We published the 5 R's of Digital Bystander Intervention to prevent digital sexual violence by empowering everyday people to take action using safe strategies.

White House, European Union, & More
Our Founder and CEO spoke at the first international summit on deepfake abuse and the European Union's INACH Conference.  They were also invited to the White House.

These highlights barely scratch the surface. We are honored to reflect on our achievements and discuss our plans for the future in our impact report.  We can not continue our work without your support. Please donate to our holiday fundraiser!
