Friends and Colleagues,
10 years back we never imagined the impact were going to make with the second chance education program for children and young people out of school. With your support, we have made strides. We started the program with less than 40 primary school learners per year in 2010. In 2016, we introduced the secondary school component starting with only 40 learners. Today we are proud to share with you that we are enrolling at least 100 learners out of school for the primary level and 130 secondary school learners annually. Not only that; we have now registered our community school with the Ministry of Education. And with the registration, we are happy to say, we are now a registered examination centre. We are able to facilitate our learners to sit for public examinations without the shame of going to other schools as external candidates. We also have the capacity to help other community members to sit for exams at our centre. Our impact is extending in our communities.
For all this, we want to say thank you, and this is our achievement together. Please keep supporting our cause and invite friends and relatives to give to our cause. We still need resources to buy text books, build a classroom, volunteers stipends, food, stationery and funds for repairs and maintainance of the buildings.
With Gratitude,
