Once a beacon of learning in Larteh Akuapem, Ghana, Saint Peter Orthodox College has stood silent for 15 years. This project, under the Archdiocese's care, revives it, not rebuilding, but reactivating. With solar power, clean water, safe dorms, and digital classrooms, it restores education for 400 students each year. Every $100 reopens a classroom; every donor revives hope. Join us, turn faith into future, and neglect into knowledge that lasts for generations.
FOR FIFTEEN YEARS, Saint Peter Orthodox College in Larteh-Akuapem has stood silent, no light, no safe water, no learning. Students now study under trees, and teachers abandon unsafe dorms. Once a beacon of faith and knowledge, it has become a hollow shell of neglect, eroding dignity and opportunity. WITHOUT URGENT REHABILITATION, THE LAST ORTHODOX ACADEMIC CENTER IN THE REGION WILL FADE BEYOND RECOVERY, LEAVING HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN WITHOUT A FUTURE OF HOPE.
This project revives the existing college, not by rebuilding, but by restoring life to what stands. Solar power will light classrooms, clean water will flow, and digital labs will connect students to the world. Safe teacher housing and security systems will stabilize campus life. MANAGED TRANSPARENTLY BY THE CONSTANTINE AFRICAN FOUNDATION AND THE ORTHODOX ARCHDIOCESE, EVERY DOLLAR IS TRACEABLE, TRANSFORMING RUINS INTO A LIVING, SUSTAINABLE LEARNING COMMUNITY.
Once fully restored, Saint Peter College will educate over 200 students yearly, training future leaders in ethics, business, and community service. With renewable energy and digital resources, it becomes a model of African Orthodox education that sustains itself for decades. BEYOND CLASSROOMS, IT WILL REBUILD TRUST, CREATE LOCAL JOBS, AND EMPOWER FAMILIES, PROOF THAT FAITH AND EDUCATION TOGETHER CAN TURN FORGOTTEN WALLS INTO A LEGACY OF NATIONAL RENEWAL.
