At Instituto Nueva Escuela, transformation is built through everyday actions that create lasting change. Over the past months, we have continued advancing our mission through the following efforts:
Between August and September, we conducted 42 mentoring and coaching sessions with certified Montessori guides and interns. These sessions foster reflection, professional collaboration, and continuous growth, strengthening educators’ ability to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for children and youth.
Our team continues advancing the reaccreditation process for the Infant and Toddler course. We look forward to the upcoming MACTE and AMS visits as we strengthen our commitment to high-quality Montessori teacher preparation.
Through our Reading Corners initiative, we delivered the second installment of books for Casa de Niños classrooms. These resources nurture imagination, language development, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
Moving Our Shared Vision Forward
A Montessori guide receiving personalized support, an educator preparing for reaccreditation, or a child exploring a new book may seem like separate accomplishments. Together, however, they represent a shared commitment to strengthening Public Montessori education throughout Puerto Rico. Each effort contributes to more vibrant learning communities and greater opportunities for children, educators, and families across the island.
