Mission

Instituto Nueva Escuela's mission is to accompany, train and serve the communities in Puerto Rico through Montessori public education for the development of prepared beings who contribute to the common good. Before 1994, the Montessori method was only accessible to wealthy families and in private schools. In 15 years, the INE accompanies 60 public schools and communities in their educational and social transformation.
