New Beginnings!

By Marilynn Akinyi | Communications Assistant

Hope!
Hope!

As the holidays draw to a close, many children in Kibera are preparing to return to school with renewed hope for the year ahead. For some, this season marks more than the end of a holiday—it marks a second chance. Through this project, we are helping children step back into classrooms, carrying not just books and uniforms, but restored confidence and hope for their future.

Turning Point Trust continues to transform lives by removing the barriers that keep vulnerable children out of school. With access to education, care, and ongoing support, children are able to dream again, focus on learning, and imagine a future filled with opportunity. We have seen learners return with brighter outlooks, improved attendance, and a growing belief that they belong and can succeed.

As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited to welcome new children, who have been out of school, into our education programmes and walk with them on their learning journey. We look forward to seeing the impact this programme will have in the lives of these children.

We invite you to continue giving so that many more out-of-school children can return to school, access holistic quality education, and have their hope restored. Thank you for making these new beginnings possible.
