The images and design of our 2011 awareness campaign are ready, showing that all human beings are different, also persons with Down Syndrome.
The photographs of Yazlinmar (10m) and Carlos (9y), principal actors, are spontaneous, and were taken by their parents during their everyday activities. Photographs are accompanied by the message: “Do I look different? I see you different too”.
On September 24th with the printing of 15,000 fliers that include this slogan and a list of the rights of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we´ll present to the public of Barranquilla this campaign, as part of a cultural event in a shopping mall.
We need your continued support to install the billboards for 6 months, remember: ”You make the difference”….

Las imágenes y el diseño de nuestra campaña de sensibilización 2011 están listos, el mensaje es que todos los seres humanos somos diferentes, también las personas con Síndrome de Down.
Las fotografías de Yazlinmar de 10 meses y Carlos, de 9 años, nuestros protagonistas, son espontáneas y fueron tomadas por sus padres durante las actividades que ellos realizan diariamente. Están acompañadas del mensaje: “Me ves distinto? Yo a ti también”.
El 24 de septiembre, con la impresión de 15.000 volantes con este mensaje y en cuyo dorso están enumerados los derechos de la Convención de las Naciones Unidas de las Personas con Discapacidad, presentaremos al público de Barranquilla esta nueva campaña en el marco de un evento cultural en un centro comercial.
Necesitamos seguir contando con su apoyo para poder instalar las vallas publicitarias durante 6 meses, recuerda: “Tú haces la diferencia”…..
