Greetings everyone!

On behalf of PIES de la Tierra A.C., we are pleased to share exciting progress in our restoration project in northern Mexico as we continue our commitment to local communities.

A few months ago, we were honored to be recognized by the NGO "United Way Chihuahua" as the best environmental project of 2023. This recognition energizes us to persevere in our work with the Rarámuri communities and forest conservation.

This year, we have begun resource management for reforesting 30 hectares, installing rainwater harvesting systems in the homes of Rarámuri communities in Coyachique and El Pandito, and constructing structures for soil retention on the steep slopes surrounding these communities. Additionally, we have facilitated community meetings where residents have a voice and vote in decisions related to activities in their territory.

Thanks to your continued support and trust, we can continue to carry out this vital work. Each contribution makes a difference and propels us towards a more sustainable future. We are committed to transparency in our efforts, and we hope this update reflects our positive impact in the region.

We deeply appreciate your essential role in this journey. Let's keep walking together towards a healthier and more equitable environment!
