Due to a spell of severe cold wave that swept through the northern part of Bangladesh during December, 2010 and January, 2011, Eye Camps for detecting the cataract patients could not be held in the rural areas.
Since weather is now improving, we have a plan to hold an eye camp on February 20, 2011.
We performed cataract surgery on 12 patients who came to our hospital. Thus the total number of patients whose eye sights are restored till today under this project is 241.
