A free Eye Camp was held in the premises of Karmirhath Hospital on August 3, 2010. Out of total 600 patients, 53 were detected with cataract. These patients were tested for blood-sugar and other probable ailments. Cataract surgeries were conducted on 25 patients on August 4 and on the remaining 28 patients on August 11, 2010. Each surgery was conducted by a team of three experienced surgeons and doctors and all operations were successful. All the 53 patients have their eye sights restored and each and every happy patient was extremely grateful to the donors who made their operations possible through their liberal donations!!!
