                          HELP RESTORE EYESIGHTS TO 500 BANGLADESHIS

 

                           PROJECT REPORT_APRIL, 2015

 

Cataract operations are going on smoothly at our Karmirhath Hospital. Thanks to our overseas donors who donated through GlobalGiving Foundations. 1126 eye patients received treatments during the last two months. 59 patients went through Cataract operations and got back their eye sights.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

 

Case Study: 

  1. Fulmoti (Not her real name):

Fulmot is 36 years old. She is married and has 3 children. She works in an Ice cream factory as a day labour. Her husband is also a day labor and works as agriculture labor. Fulmoti was detected to have developed cataract in her eyes in an Eye Camp about five years ago. She was brought to Karmirhath Eye Hospital and admitted for cataract operations. After thorough examinations and tests, operations were conducted on both eyes Seven days apart, free of costs. With eye sights restored, Fulmoti went home, resumed her work as a day labor in Ice Cream Factory. She was very thankful to Karmirhath Hospital and to those donors who helped the hospital with fund and to those who provided fund for her treatment.
