Story of Bulbul:
Bulbul who is 40 years old is a poor day laborer. He developed cataract in both of his eyes long ago. He was almost blind. He could not manage sufficient funds for surgery of his eyes. He lives about 50 km from Karmirhath hospital. About few months ago, Bulbul came to know that Karmirhath hospital at Gaibandha performs cataract operations on poor patients free of charge. He came to the hospital in August this year and got his right eye operated for cataract. Later on September 25, 2012, cataract operation was performed on his left eye. Bulbul is now very happy that he can see with both of his eyes. He is very grateful to GlobalGiving for providing funds for his operations.
