Dear Donor,
We are pleased to report that we have received the first disbursement of $355 for the project Restore Dignity for Vulnerable Seniors. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all donors who contributed to this project.
Following the receipt of the funds, we conducted an internal assessment and inventory of the needs of our most vulnerable residents. The most needed personal hygiene and care items include essential items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body lotion, deodorant, razors and shaving cream. This assessment helps us ensure that the funds will be used in a targeted and effective way, based on the actual needs of our residents.
We are currently in the process of securing a partnership with a local retail store/ pharmacy. The goal of this partnership is to obtain discounts and/or additional donated products so that the project funds can go even further. By collaborating with a retail partner, we hope to purchase more personal care items than originally planned and therefore support more elderly individuals with dignity kits and personal hygiene supplies.
In our next report, we hope to have finalized this partnership and completed the purchase and distribution of the personal hygiene items. We look forward to sharing the results, including how many elderly residents were supported and the impact of the donations.
Once again, we sincerely thank all donors for their generosity and support in helping us restore dignity and improve the quality of life for vulnerable elderly individuals.
Warm regards,
Danielle Palm
