We are delighted to share exciting news from Thukutu Primary School!
This year, 41 learners sat for the Malawi National Standard 8 Examinations, and the school achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate. Of these students, 38 were selected to attend secondary school, while the remaining passed but were not sected to a secondary school. This impressive accomplishment reflects the dedication of both learners and teachers.
We cannot celebrate these results without acknowledging the school feeding program and the support of our donors. These results represent more than academic success. They demonstrate what is possible when children have access to a supportive learning environment, committed teachers, and community-driven educational initiatives.
The school feeding program, together with your support, has been a key factor in improving attendance and learning outcomes at Thukutu Primary School. Many children come from households facing economic challenges and food insecurity. By providing nutritious meals at school, the program helps ensure that students can concentrate in class, attend regularly, and participate actively in their education. The program also helps keep students in school, contributing to higher retention and completion rates.
Our community deeply appreciates your support.
Thank you.
