We continue to strengthen our Family Planning and Maternal Health program. Thanks to you for your donations we have managed to support more than 4 States in Venezuela.
Achievements:
15 Health providers, including doctors and nurses, strengthened their capacities to better care for the population in terms of the timely diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections according to their symptoms and the different options for family planning methods.
Care and promotion of the prevention of congenital syphilis and HIV in newborns.
Rapid diagnostic tests were applied to 1,210 people, including pregnant women, for the timely diagnosis of HIV/Syphilis, which allowed us to identify positive cases and make the corresponding link for treatment at the health center.
