Dear friends,
We wanted to give you a quick update on FTPF's project in Brazil, especially in light of the current circumstances in Brazil and the rest of Latin America, which are currently on the frontlines of the coronavirus.
Devastatingly, during these challenging times, many environmental protections are being quickly and quietly rolled back in Brazil. We cannot allow deforestation and environmental degradation to take advantage of this moment, we must continue fighting. For our part, FTPF is continuing to work with our partners in Mococa to plan for our next tree planting, distribution, and education program there. This includes fundraising, which is an important part of getting these trees in the ground.
If you are able to make a contribution to support our work planting trees for students, families, and wildlife in southeastern Brazil, we would be very grateful; if not, you can show your support of FTPF during these times by sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family or on social media.
To a fruitful future,
The FTPF team
